Like to wish the late great singer/songwriter of all time Static Major a happy birthday to one of the greatest he started out in the Basement Crew with Timbaland, Missy, Ginuwine and the rest of the guys from Playa Smoke and Digital Black. Static then started off as a songwriter for Ginuwine he got his first big break as a songwriter. The first track he wrote for any major artists was Pony by Ginuwine and since then his creativity had evolved to greater heights. Static Major then later formed an successful R&B male trio known as Playa. Released their first hit single Cheers 2 U of the same album name and later continue to release other songs from the album including "Don't Stop The Music". Static also gave his creative skills to the test when he first worked with the late R&B singer/actress Aaliyah on her song "Are You That Somebody" and he also wrote her most inspirational hit ever "Try Again" which earned her a win at the MTV Video Music Awards for Best Female Artist and for Best Song for a Film. Static Major also wrote Aaliyah's other hits including "Come Back In One Piece", "Rock The Boat", "We Need A Resolution" "More Than A Woman", he also wrote for other acts as well including Mississippi's own rapper David Banner on his single for "Crank It Up" and he also founded the group Pretty Ricky and wrote their first two albums and also he made his final appearance in any music video for any artists it was "Lollipop: he wrote the song for Lil' Wayne back in 2008 and he made the video a few days before his passing. So in his memory Lil' Wayne had dedicated the video to Static Major and it was LIl' Wayne's first number one international hit single remain number one from February to July 2008. Lil' Wayne and Static Major's video "Lollipop" was voted as the number one greatest video of 2008 by BET's Notorized Top 100 Songs of 2008. Static Major was also honored at the 2009 Grammy Awards along with other songwriter/s who passed away as well. Static also made one last video prior towards "Lollipop" he made a video for his single "Bus Stop Breezy" which was supposed to been apart of his upcoming solo album Suppertime that he had been working on and planning to have released it he also released his last single to the radios before his passing which was "I Got My" and it was number one on the radio as well..Static Major will always have his fans hearts with the amazing songs he gave us to have and cherish forever we love and miss you Static!!
